If you're anything like me then you suffer all too often from Takeaway guilt. The gnawing feeling that

  • you eat takeaway too often
  • you'll get fat
  • you'll get more unhealthy than you already are
  • you should eat some proper home cooked food with REAL VEGETABLES IN

Apart from the cost and the health guilt, the actual monotony of takeaway food can sometimes be enough to drive the terminally slobby to visit their estranged kitchens. Unsuccesful experiments invariably lead back to the takeaway menus sitting next to the phone. What to do?

Well, meet Mark Innes, the York chef who aims to change your unhealthy diet. Mark runs I EAT T - a takeaway based in Acomb. The menu is decent home-cooked good quality food available for collection and delivery. No chips in gravy or deep fried pizza here. A typical menu offers Liver and Bacon Lyonnaise for just £4.75 or how about Steamed Chicken and Mushroom Pudding for £6.50. Sounds great!

Have a look at Mark's December 2009 menu.

As well as his evening takeaway menu Mark also offers Sunday lunches, as well as dinner party and meal kits - so you can pretend you're Nigella or Jamie when you're friends come over.

What a brilliant idea for convenient, healthy eating. Find out more.
